Printing Styles

Ink types and processes for every

garment and style.

Discharge Apparel Printing

Discharge printing is the process of bleaching the dye out of the shirt, leaving its natural color showing through (usually a tan color). We can also PMS match discharge ink, however results vary depending on shirt color & brand. The only major downside with this kind of apparel printing is that you must wash the shirts before they take their “no feel” state.

Plastisol Apparel Printing

Plastisol is the traditional style of printing. Inks are thicker and rougher than our standard printing, and the ink sits on top of the shirt. These inks can be printed on any garment or fabric and work best in small print areas. Plastisol screen printing inks are typically used on all blended tees in place of our standard inks.

Printing Machine Ink

Waterbase Apparel Printing

Water-based printing features inks that are soft, breathable and able to soak into the fabric of the garment, rather than sitting on top. When printed correctly, they result in crisp, bright prints that you can’t feel to the touch!

Screen Printing Ink

Simulated Apparel Printing

This is the print style that you will want to use when you have a full color design or a photograph. We are huge fans of Simulated Process Screen Printing in these situations, versus Four Color Process. We know that we can get better results every time with Simulated Process.
